Thump Thump Thump

Last Friday I had the opportunity to celebrate the official release of one of the most innovative products coming out. The Oakley Thump- the worlds first digital eyewear. The release kicked off with an introduction by the owner of Oakley and then the party began. The sunglass will be available Nov 20. Check out the links below for pictures from the private party and the low down on Thump. I am sure we will see more coming out around this sunglass....replacement lenses? More memory? A womens fit? What about in their goggles?

Take a look at Backcountry's cookies on your computer for spyware or go to ABW[Affiliate Forum] and look at Schoolpop, Inc. They gather anybody's information including password info.

These guys can't even keep their staff and are openly having a go at REI who are established and take care of their staff but also their customers

I enjoy the postings here on the BackcountryBlog but the postings from this "person" with obviously too much time on their hands over and over again is beginning to get old and has totally lost any credibility. Everytime I read an article and then click on the comments it is the same comment -- arrrghh. To see if this comment had any truth to it, I checked my computer and there is NO spyware or any to the like linked to backcountry.com or any other website for that matter, and I'm here regularly shopping and surfing. All I can say is do something constructive with your time.

wow, it looks like you might have a disgruntled employee with nothing better to do that try to put a few chinks on your p-tex. I know a few folks working for BC and they seem to be happier than happy...Go figure..

I am a customer and I would say that the service as gone down hill, happy staff sell well, unhappy low paided staff don't give a crap, no wonder I hear rumars of backcountry struggling.

Also using spyware is true, it's not just cookies?, take a look at how many complaints they get on spyware, that speaks for itself. But hey they don't seem to care about what people think.

Also Lulu and Timpguy are staff members, why don't they put backcountry staff?

that's my say as I go to Altrec - Soon Yoon Kim

On the Glasses.... eeeeee. Man I'm one of the biggest propellor heads in the world. If it's a gadget I'm all about it, but MAN those things are ginourmous. Having tried them on they are surprisingly light, though the flippy front lenses are sorta old-dude chic, ya know?
