To Telemark or not to Telemark...
For those who haven't started to telemark yet, what are you waiting for?! I caught this guys blog post from France about getting people stoked to "Free the heel & free the mind". The best part of his post is the traditonal alpine skiier coming back with, ‘Fix the heel & fix the problem!’
It takes a couple ski days to get the swing of things, but you won't look back. Hop in a tele clinic at Alta(the details are at the bottom of the page) this winter and give it a try. Solitude is also doing a clinic on the 16th of December, for FREE, just make sure to register. 4 comments

tele'ing is a blast and, yes, it can be learned in a few days. However, if you are a casual skier and don't plan on staying in excellent shape in between trips, don't bother. It will WORK you!

Telemarking is totally fun but I have to admit after 12 years of telemarking I going back to my alpine set up. The power you get from a locked heel is unmatched.
