This issue is just starting to heat up and will not be going away anytime soon. Sure, we all die sometime but to exit at the hand of man made petroleum based plastics would be a sad way to start pushing up daisies.

Are these the solid white Nalgene bottles or the Lexan (transparent) Nalgene bottles? They are made from different materials, and the article doesn't specify aside from the photo.

ReplyDelete@indesignguy - From what I could find out from a buddy in Canada was that they were most worried about the transparent Lexan Nalgene bottles and not so much the solid white ones although MEC pulled them all.
ReplyDelete@josh - the Klean Kanteen have sold out - about 360 of them between the 27 oz and the 40 oz sizes. I'll try to find out when they'll have them back in stock.
